Ann Arbor born and raised, Jess was obsessed with Rock Paper Scissors from the moment she laid eyes on the Main Street location. After shrieking with joy and dragging her friend inside, it took all of five minutes before she decided that she wanted, no NEEDED to work at RPS. Lisa took a chance and hired the Michigan State grad (go green!), based mostly on her fanatic obsession with paper and letterpress, though her name’s prevalence on The New Girl was truly the deciding factor. While Rock Paper Scissors is her self-described "happy place," Jess departed for San Francisco recently to begin a mission of self-discovery and adventure. She now takes great pleasure in referring to herself in the third person as the self-proclaimed “west coast correspondent.”
