Building our Custom Gift Boxes
When you order a Custom Gift Box, we have three stores of inventory to choose from! We'll select from premium bath, luxury candles, Michigan apparel, U of M apparel, sweet and salty snacks from small makers, toys, games, stuffies and puzzles, just to name a few!
Ordering a Custom Gift Box allows us to tailor the box to the recipient and the occasion. You'll take a quick survey to tell us about your friend, family member, or coworker. Then let us know if it's a kid's birthday, holiday, house warming, sympathy, engagement, or 'just because,' and we'll get to picking!
Keep in mind when you choose the size, that the combined retail value of all the items in your box will equal or exceed the value you select. Feel free to browse our other curated gift boxes for an idea of how many premium items might be in the size you select.
Each of our boxes is gift-ready and packed with care, with kraft crinkle, stickers and RPS striped tape. We include a hand-written note with each box. If you'd like a card, like one from Rifle Paper Co., it may be added to your cart separately.

When is my order considered 'submitted?'
We will not begin processing your order until your Custom Gift Box purchase is complete. That means you must check out and pay.
Where do Custom Gift Boxes ship from?
Most Rock Paper Scissors orders ship from Saline, Michigan, though depending on item availability, some ship from Ann Arbor, Michigan.
How quickly do custom orders ship?
Please allow 2-3 business days for your custom order to be picked. We ship all Rock Paper Scissors orders UPS Ground, with tracking. Most orders arrive at their destination in the US within 6 business days of purchase, but we never guarantee this timing. Our estimated shipping is intended to help you make decisions.
Can I tell you exactly what I want in the box?
When you complete the survey, you will be able to tell us if there are specific items you'd like included. Because we are a small business with new products almost daily, we cannot guarantee that we'll have something in stock you may have seen in the past. We will do our best to find a substitution. Can I see the box before it ships?
The short answer is no. The long answer is that we're a very small team, and we've set up the survey in order to avoid lengthy back and forth about orders, but if you still have specific concerns after being very precise with your survey answers, call the Saline store at (734) 316-2095 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Keep in mind that this might delay shipping your order.
How do I order multiple custom boxes?
Complete the process for each box individually. Fill out one survey per box. For multiple boxes that may be different sizes, please indicate which size is intended for which recipient in the checkout comments or in the survey.
