Foil, Fun & Memories: Custom "Highlights of the Year" Holiday Card
It's the most wonderful time of the year!
We at Rock Paper Scissors are recovering from Small Business Saturday (thanks SO much to everyone who came by!) and have been gearing up for tons of holiday fun. One of our favorite projects each year is creating custom holiday greetings - from letterpress to foil, illustrations to photo holders, the possibilities for holiday cards and letters are pretty much endless.
Last year, RPS owner Lisa created "The Adventures of the Roberts" - a holiday letter that detailed month by month highlights of a year in the life of her family.
The card featured detailed lettering, shiny gold foil, and adorable holly & berry illustrations. The intro message read: "We may not have 'passed through the seven levels of the candy cane forest, through the sea of swirly, twirly gumdrops' but we've had one hell of an adventure this year!"
The one-sided card features lettered months printed in gold foil, with matching icons for each. Highlights of the year included birthdays, airplane (mis)adventures, playdates, and new business ventures, to name a few!
Each card was mailed in a red envelope with a holly berry liner, complete with white calligraphy!
