Snapshots from NSS: Vol. 3 - New Kids on the Block
While at the National Stationery Show in New York, we got the chance to meet new makers and to check out products that were either new to us, or could become new additions to the store! There was no shortage of new items to check out - below are just a few of our favorite new friends and items!
THREE POTATO FOUR
I absolutely adored the booth displays at Three Potato Four, including this board fill with banners, keychains, and other goodies from the company.
These banners are JUST the best. With a vintage feel and quality craftsmanship, we can't wait to get our hands on these in Ann Arbor. Stay tuned for a special announcement from RPS regarding these guys - we can't wait to share the new item they're whipping up for RPS!
If you spend as much time on Pinterest as I do, you might have seen a photo of one of these bad boys floating around the internet. We loved the whole trio of keychains and are excited to be bringing 'em back to the Mitten. (They're great as keychains or even as a motivational reminders on your wall!)
The "Good Luck" design is just one of three awesome, frame-able prints headed to Ann Arbor! This guy, plus two designs of "Home Sweet Home" are perfect to spice up any office or home space.
EMILY LEY
Between the Home Base Binder (pictured above) and the Simplified Planner (pictured below), Emily Ley has a lock on organization.
We also couldn't resist this "Family Rules" print, with just the right touch of gold foil!
STUDIO ON FIRE
It wasn't just new stationery, print, and gift designers that caught our eye at NSS - we also met some great new printing partners, including Studio on Fire, who created this amazing 2015 desk calendar, with their "Favorite Things" letterpress printed in gorgeous neon inks. The full calendar (shown above) plus its printed case made for one lovely spread.
For a close-up peek at the calendar pages, I chose the six months I felt represented my amazing time at NSS: adventures (we had plenty of those zipping around the city), handmade love (a whole building full of it!), beer thirty (gotta celebrate a trade show well walked!) , baked goods (I refused to leave the city until I gorged myself), jet fuel (a trade show necessity), and tasty vittles (can you BE in New York without indulging in culinary treats?). I love Studio on Fire's giveaway almost as much as I loved NYC.
PRESERVE
We LOVED the new, bright patterns on the sheet wrap, journals, gift bags, and boxes at Preserve. The prints above and below are just a sample of the fun items headed to Rock Paper Scissors!
CREATIVE LAB PRESS
We're so glad we got the chance to meet Bri Davey, of Creative Lab Press. Her cards (and coasters) were absolutely adorable, and she was so very sweet. Below are a few of our faves heading to Ann Arbor!
So...you think you're the shit? Numero uno? The cream of the crop?....well, that's because you are.
The boozy letterpress coasters (pictured above) are SO cute. We also love the pregnancy ("damn that kid is gonna be cool.") and adoption cards (below).
And perfect for our University of Michigan football fans, this letterpressed gem: "you're special...like football & beer."
Love the new finds headed to Rock Paper Scissors? Stay tuned to our Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter accounts to see when new items hit the shelves!
