Rock Paper Hannah

The team, the team, the team! We want you to meet the RPS team! A lot happens at Rock Paper Scissors everyday, whether it be helping a bride and groom create custom wedding invitations, helping a husband pick out a funny anniversary card for his wife, helping a soon-to-be-grandma choose a gift to celebrate a new baby, or helping a friend select a perfect hostess gift. Let's meet the team that likes to celebrate everything! The first team member we'd like you to meet is Hannah! Check out our interview with her below.

1)  Where are you from?
I'm from Oregon!

2) Why did you want to work at Rock Paper Scissors and why do you love working here?
I had recently moved to the Ann Arbor area, and knew Lisa from being a close family friend! I had followed the store on Instagram and Facebook and just loved everything! It looked like such a fun store and turns out, it definitely is :) I love working at RPS because it is such a great atmosphere. Working for a locally owned business is really great, and I know that customers absolutely love shopping locally. The customers we have and the people who work here make it the greatest store in Ann Arbor!

3) What’s your favorite card in the store and why?
My favorite card in the store is the Ladyfingers Letterpress "Holy Shit" card. All you need to know is that it has the Pope sitting on a toilet. Nothing else needs to be said.

4) What's your favorite gift in the store and why?
My favorite gift in the store is anything Rifle Paper Co. All of their products are so unique and beautiful. They truly look like pieces of art! The recipe boxes and the phone cases are stunning.

5) Besides RPS or Bed & Butter what’s your favorite local Ann Arbor business and why?
I would have to say my favorite local Ann Arbor business is Frita Batidos. If you're looking for an incredibly unique restaurant, it's a must that you go here if you're in town for the day or want a great lunch or dinner!

6) Is there anything ridiculous you want the people of Ann Arbor to know?
I absolutely love sports, and will love to chop it up with customers about anything sports related! Also, if you're in Ann Arbor and you're not at RPS right now, then what are you even doing?!
