Happy Birthday Detroit!

On Thursday, July 24 (tomorrow!) the City of Detroit will celebrate its 313th birthday. At Rock Paper Scissors, we love the 313.* From Belle Isle to Eastern Market, Campus Martius to Ponyride Detroit, we always relish the opportunity to visit our longtime favorite locations, while also discovering exciting new restaurants, watering holes, and much MUCH more in the D. The Detroit Historical Society is hosting a birthday party for the Motor City on Thursday, July 24th with food trucks, brews from Atwater Brewery, and entertainment from the Motor City Soul Club. In honor of Detroit’s big birthday, we’ve pulled together some of our favorite Detroit themed gifts and goodies, perfect for celebrating 313 years in the 313. product-roundup   We've got a lot of love for the Motor City! A product of the Detroit Stove Works company, the Jewel had it's heyday of popularity in the 1920s, and we're so very happy this beautiful oven calls RPS home. Wanna know more?
