Father's Day Illustrations: A Card for Every Kind of Dad
We are constantly in awe of the cards, notebooks, prints, and coasters (really just about anything!) created by the incredibly talented Anna Bond, of Rifle Paper Co. Her hand painted illustrations, unmistakable style, and lovely lettering leave us swooning – which is why we’re thrilled to be carrying her line of cards for Dad (or Grandpa, or a special Godfather), just in time for Father’s Day!
The four designs each feature a stylin’ dad – whether your dad is more the outdoorsy type or is more likely to be found dressed to the nines in a suit, tie, and contrasting pocket square, we’ve got the perfect illustrated Father’s Day card for you!
1. The Father’s Day Suit Card (or as we like to call it, the “Suit & Tie” – hat tip to Justin Timberlake) is perfect for showing some love to the best dressed dad in town. Red and white pocket square, navy suit with white piping, bold striped tie and a subtle checkered shirt? Yes, sir. Card has hand lettered “Happy Father’s Day” in small white writing. The only Father’s Day card that looks as sharp as he does!
2. An all new spin on the original, this Rifle Paper Co. Father’s Day card is all suited up, tweed style. Warm red orange details in the suit and pocket square and a textured tie make this card stand out. “Happy Father’s Day” is hand-lettered in small, white, whimsical text.
3. The original in the Rifle Paper Dad Shirt series, this card features a quirky illustration of dad’s favorite shirt and sweater, plus a stylin’ skinny tie! “Happy Father’s Day” is hand-lettered in a similar whimsical way as the Tweed Card.
4. And last, but certainly not least, the “Father’s Day Fly Fishing Card” is the perfect card for a lover of the great outdoors! The illustration features a black and red buffalo plaid shirt (which goes well with my love of all things plaid), and an assortment of fishing lures, tools, bobbers and tackle, all hooked to his rugged outdoorsman’s jacket. “Happy Father’s Day” is written in the signature Rifle Paper Co. style.
